Each tape is played on our professional equipment and captured digitally at the highest quality the tape allows. We handle everything — cleaning, alignment and playback.
Your Videos Are Processed
We convert and encode your footage into modern, universally compatible video files. You can choose your preferred format if you have one.
Delivered Your Way
Collect your tapes and your new digital files on USB, DVD or via download link. Originals are always returned to you — we never keep your tapes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does VHS to digital conversion take?
Conversion time depends on how many tapes you have and how long each one runs. A single tape is typically 1–2 hours of content. We'll give you a realistic turnaround estimate when you drop in.
Will I get my original tapes back?
Absolutely. Your original tapes are always returned to you. We treat every tape with care — they're irreplaceable family heirlooms.
What format will my digital videos be in?
We convert to MP4 by default, which plays on virtually every device — phones, laptops, smart TVs, tablets. If you need a different format such as MOV or AVI just let us know.
What if my tape is damaged or mouldy?
Bring it in anyway. We'll assess the condition honestly and let you know what's recoverable. Some damaged tapes can still be salvaged — we've rescued footage others thought was lost.
Can you convert VHS-C, Betamax, Hi8 or MiniDV tapes?
Yes — we handle a wide range of tape formats including VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, 8mm, Hi8, Video8 and MiniDV. Just bring them in and we'll let you know if we can convert them.
How much does it cost?

If you can't make it to our Mannering Park store, you can post your laptop, computer or other device to us instead. Fill in the mail-in form, send it to our workshop, and we'll repair it and post it back to you.

We post it back
Once it's fixed, your device is packed up and posted back to the return address you gave us.
